During excavation, the arm cylinder should be the main force, with the boom cylinder assisting. Adjust the angle of the bucket teeth according to the bucket arm’s trajectory. The teeth should “slice” into the soil, not “slam” it. Once inserted to the proper depth, lift the arm while hooking the bucket. This creates a smooth and efficient digging cycle.
2. Handle hard soil properly:
